The mission of the Stanislaus Humanists is to advance Humanism, an ethical and life-affirming philosophy, free of belief in supernatural forces. We advocate for a secular society in which no one's beliefs or rituals are imposed on anyone else. Humanists strive for a society guided by reason, empathy, and our growing knowledge of the world. We encourage people to live informed and meaningful lives which aspire to the greater good.
